...and I can't stop touching my new growth! :hiya:

I'm almost APL, 21 weeks post & transitioning, and my NG is about 4 inches long, the texture is sooooooo wavy and soft, and I just can't keep my hands out of it. :yay: Can't wait to get home everyday and let me bun down and co-wash so I can touch it a little more! :Copy of 2cool:

Ok, needed to vent that! Anyone else transitioning and loving the feeling of finally having your natural texture???? :yep:

Hi, my name is Rosa and I'm a new growth molester.

<<Hi, Rosa.>>

I began transitioning in April and quickly developed an addition to fondling my new growth. When I was relaxed and my hair was freshly done and swangin', I would sometimes run my fingers through it, but the texture of my new growth puts my relaxed hair to shame.

I even have blackouts sometimes. I'll be working and all of the sudden I come to and find one hand on the keyboard and the other in my new growth. I've resorted to wearing half-wigs as a means of combating this addiction but my hands still manage to find their way to the exposed new growth.

If loving my new growth is wrong I don't want to be right but I'm willing to take the first step in learning how to admire it from afar.:yep:

I have "hand in hair syndrome" as well. I have tried all sorts of stuff to keep me from playing with my NG. I have short pieces of hair in the spots that I usually pick at and it sucks.:wallbash: This is the only thing that has cause me to have major set back over the years.:ohwell:

Well..uhm..I'm am no longer a transitioner, I BC'ed in June of this year. However, since that time, my hair has been in individual braids. I am now rocking my baby fro...I am IN LOVE with the texture!! My hands find their way to my hair no matter what I do. At work, its a little easier, but at home...it a wrap people!! A wrap indeed.

Hi I'm Mummy's Girl and not only am obsessed with my new growth... I keep having fantasies about what I'll do to it when I cut of all my relaxed ends and have a lot of it to play with :lick:

I am confident enough to know I have beautiful new growth and everyone should totally understand why I feel the way I do about it... Ok maybe I'm a little ARROGANT :look: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen: <----- I'm kidding.... a little ;-)

I am also having a secret love affair with my new growth...sshhh! dont tell nobody! I think I may be in love.

9 nine transitioner here

I love Molesting  my NG!!!!! I relax 2-3 times a year and for the first few weeks after my relaxer touch ups I go through a slight depressing because I have nothing to feel up on:nono:!!

I haven't texlaxed since May, and I have around 3 inches of new growth that I like to pat and stroke ALL DAY LONG! I'm a stay-at-home-mom so I don't have to worry about people in the workplace thinking I have lice or something...and it hasn't caused any breakage issues, so I'm not gonna quit. :giggle:

I used to get on my friend for playing in her hair, but I cant stop touching mine. Especially now that its healthy and soft...

Now I just need to get my hair in its optimal growing conditions so I can get that inch per month going on

Same here. BC'd in June and love playing in my hair. Don't know how I feel about the 3 different textures, though. :wallbash: Or, at least that's what it feels like. Oh, well. Still loving it.
