Hi, I would love to join, I have just made it 1 year relaxer free.:dance7:
I am still transitioning and I have no plan to relax; I do plan on BC by the summer. Thanks for all the advise and support.

I'm in.......about 6 months now. I, too, need lots of support!
Natural hair is some work, my sisters. :wallbash:

I love this site and all that you all share with us newbies!!!!

More hair to you all!!!

This thread come just in time. I was thinking about not staying natural. Right now stretched, my hair reaches to my shoulder in the back. But it's the shrinkage that is frustrating.

so I'm in

That's a good idea to do this. I've been natural since 1999 (no locks) and I definitely can say I've learned the in's and out's of being natural. I'm not on these boards as much as I'd like to be, but if anyone needs any kind of support, feel free to email me at [email protected], or just PM me. I've gotten to the point where I'm comfortable and natural hair is just apart of me now... I've since been concentrating on growing my hair long the past 3 years now which is all about doing all the right things for your hair, not doing the things that are bad for your hair, and a lot of patience (like taking your mind off your hair and just having a life). Good luck ladies, I hope you all learn as much about your hair as you possibly can!

Count me in too! I have been natural since June '07, and am planning to stay natural, but, am here to support others!

I need as much encouragement as possible...Im still natural, but have been heavily fustrated with my hair... Part of me wants to relax (tex-lax) while the other parts of me feel like I would be cheating myself of the opportunity to really see my hair's full abilities.... I dunno....Guess I am one of those who needs support...

I'm 3 months post relaxer and can't wait until I have a nice, full, head of natural hair.

I'm learning so much on this board.

I imagine that Shingling and IC Fantasia gel will be my new best friends.

Confession:
I was :lachen:when I saw this thread. Never even opened it up. I was like I don't need a challenge 2 stay natural - that's "who I b" now. Well, after an attack of the microknots, I just did a thread of encouragement 2 help me remain "natchal". So it looks like I do need 2 join this challenge. I at least want to stay natural for 2 more years b4 I throw n the towel.

THe texturizer is calling my name this week. I just want to be able to style my hair quicker and I'm tired of knots. I think I'm just going to blow it out or something.

I want to join but I'm not fully natural. I'm transitioning. Currently in month 9. I'm not planning to BC and I'm struggling to avoid the relaxer isle but I really do want to be all natural.

I could really use the support!

I'm in! I'm currently rocking something between a baldie and a twa. This is my 3rd natural attempt so I may need a lil' tough love :look:.

I have a baldie now, too. It is a dark ceaser cut that I got from my dh's barber this past Friday. I am really loving it. This is my 3rd or 4th time going natural....I have attempted this one too many times. Let me know if you would like to be hair growth buddies

Defintely in this one. I've been itchin to change things up. Saw this badddd cut in a magazine LOL. Trying to hold on to my natural hair, but I gotta admit... changing hairstyles is like a disease with me. :nono:

I'll try this one too. I have been strolling down the relaxer aisle for a while now. :sekret: I have so much hair. It can definitely be challenging...

I'd love to join. I've been natural for 10 months now and I'm loving the curls, thickness, and length. :)

Personal Tip: I love changing my hairstyles like changing seasons, so what I like to do is wear half wigs, weaves, & phony ponys to change my style up while growing heatlhy natural hair underneath... and I've never been happier :yep:

i hope its not to late to join this challenge. i am really hoping to stay natural in the 08.

Awww heck, why not? :look:  I plan on doing a braid regimen beginning in April so I don't think this will be too difficult...(even though I have NOOOOO plan or desire to relax my hair EVA). My napps are like :lick: to me right now! :yep:

ill join. i dont want to be tempted. i though i would never, ever, EVER relax a year ago but i ended up having to start all over just because i didnt have enough info at the time and a bit of momentary stress.

I know im kinda late but.....I'M IN!!!!

Last year this time i had the same goal but it didn't turn out so good. This time i am so determined and i will stay natural and healthy.

Ladies,
