OMG, I was just on Youtube looking at blow drying techniques and ran into the most horrible video of a girl blow drying the hell out her hair! I blow dry but gosh, I'm careful and I section my hair off.

Then she talks about how she's going to use LOTS and LOTS of grease after. Nooo baby noooo!

OMG!!!!!!
ummm......... someone needs to take away that blow dryer and she is treating her hair like an old mop or something that is just so wrong  :nono: :ohwell:  :nono:

You can see the pain on her face at :50.

LMAO I know that LHCF members left those comments!!!
Well her hair is proof that she really doesn't know what she's doing. Should we pm her with the link to LHCF?:lachen:

Oh absolutely!! She needs an intervention by the LHCF police, STAT!!!

:nono: :nono: :nono:

I couldn't even sit through that whole thing. Poor baby! (by "baby" I mean her hair ) Every single appliance she owns needs to be confiscated!!

That was wrong on so many levels it's not even funny:perplexed If you have to rake a blowdryer through your hair like that and come upon tangles:nono:. Wow!!!!!

I was also slightly taken aback by her comments:

"This is what you have to do when you're mixed"
"When you're black, hispanic, indian, nothing is good for your hair...sometimes water isn't good for it"

wtf?

OUCH!!!!:nono:
THAT DEF LOOKED LIKE IT HURT
I WONDER HOW LONG SHE'S BEEN BLOWDRYING HER HAIR LIKE THAT, B/C IF SHE CONTINUES LIKE THAT SHE WONT HAVE ANYTHING TO BLOWDRY

Is that what she said?
Se was like "This is what happens when you're [couldn't hear but i SWORE she said mixed]".

Guuurlll..........

Damn :lachen: Yall must of hurt her feelings lol :lachen:, She took the video down :lachen: Darn it lol I wanted to see what you guys were talking about. She needed all the advice she could get from the ladies here. Sounds like she was destroying her hair, And clueless as heck about hair care.

WTH! :mad:She will be bald if she keep thinking that :(

I am going to go there. Before LHCF, I used to blow my shoulder hair JUST LIKE this and then wonder why I had splits and knots. I am CERTAIN that I was not the only person who did this. Now, I rarely use the blow-dryer, but I section my hair when I do. One thing that I am learning as a teacher is that sometimes people really don't know. We have to teach rather than ridicule (not directed to OP, but just wanted to throw this out there...).

Well whoever left comments made an impact, I truly hope she took your comments to heart and is now adapting her method of blow drying her hair.

Wished I could have seen it though!

Oh no!! What did you say? Was this a really young person?

that foo got what was coming to her. I gave her a list, I wish Id copied it before she deleted.

roughly what I said:
1. You should NOt be blowdrying with a comb attachment
2. I can tell it was on high, which you shouldnt have been,
3. why the heck didnt you blowdry in sections???
4. why would you post a video up like this, I hope you werent trying to be instructional because you are doing everything wrong(and I dont quote myself it could have been better/worse) and thats probably why you aint got no hair in the first place!

If anything, I should have told her off about the fact taht she thought it was cute to b!tch and moan about being mixed (which I doubt she was) and how somehow having black in her made it impossible to use water or have decent looking hair. All that complaining and the only thing that was negatively affecting her hair was the fact that she was TeARING it OUt.

Gonna get on YouTUBe with that like that mess was cute.... :nono:

She reminds me of (and looks just like) a girl in high school who complained about being black and acted like somehow it was a burden she didnt deserve. She would say she wished she was white beacuse they had better skin and hair. She would let her over-relaxed hair look like trash and stick out and be undone in public (a no no for ANYONE, relaxed natural white or black) then her excuse (for plain not brushing/washing) would be that it was because she was black. Had white students thinking this sort of thing was normal for black people.
