How would you classify my hair? I definitely have no idea. Am I in the 3 or 4 range? Not sure. Please help so that I can list accurate information on my profile and other threads.

Note: in these pictures, my hair is damp. Sometimes it get puffier when it dries.

People are going to say that you have to post pictures of dry hair with no product to accurately determine hair type. I say there's no way any type 4 is going to look like that last pic, no matter what you do to it

I'm guessing 3C :yep:

Oh ok. I wasn't sure if damp hair made a difference. And when you say "no product" are conditioners and leave-ins included? That's pretty much all I use.

No product means no product. They want dry crispy hair for accurate hair typing :giggle: ok ok I'll stop cutting up. Yeah, no conditioner or leave ins. Basically wash, rinse everything out, let your hair air dry and take a pic, if you want to. I don't think it's really necessary to know your hair type to grow your hair long, but it's fun finding out :)

3C/4A
But to be honest after that garbage I read about the creator of this hair typing system I would just say kinky/curly and keep it moving.

exactly it has to be bone dry no product of ANY KIND and please make sure your standing STILL and any window/door draughts covered up movement is know to turn 4b into 3c curls:yep:

I think your hair is Type 3B/C if this is your natural hair unmanipulated unstyled.

Sorry ladies! I have been so busy with my work and haven't checked all of my posts. I actually washed in the shower and put on loads of conditioner without even thinking. Please check back in a week. I would love to hear your opinions.

I say take your pics search you tube, blogs and Foki pages for hair that you think looks like yours wet dry styled or un-styled and claim your own hair type based on your own research.
