Naturals Who Wash in Twists or Braids

I wash in braids/twists. I DC with either GPB or Emergencee, or Honeysuckle Rose. Otherwise I condition after shampooing with any moisturizing conditioner that sounds good (Organix, Elucence, Aussie, Trader Joe's Nourish Spa, Aveda...to name a few). I do not use any "moisturizer"/"leave-in" after doing my ACV rinse. I am used to how my hair feels so it doesn't bother me. I don't like the feel of product on my neck or ears. I baggy every night. Some may find my hair feeling dry, but I wouldn't have it any other way if not wearing it out.

I realized that I was getting too much buildup from products I was using to wash them out well while in braids.
I no longer use creamy conditioner without diluting it a lot.
Now, after washing I spray a homemade leave in/moisturizer with purified water, rose water, george's aloe vera, a few squirts of trader joe's conditioner and 1 drop each of lavendar and rosemary essential oil. Then I seal with a little shea or coconut oil.
It doesn't cause buildup so it washes out easily and I use it every day as a moisturizer.

I save DC'ing for when I have only about 6 big loose braids in, so I almost consider it being loose. Otherwise, I don't feel like it penetrates well enough and it's harder to rinse out. Does that make any sense? lol
