If you have a hooded dryer, how long does it take you to dry? (We don't have a Pibbs yet! lol) If you air dry, how long does that usually take? TIA!

Under a dryer, 30 - 45 min, esp if you really spiraled it and spread the hair out on the rod. My hair is past APL and THICK. I use a Pibbs 512.

45 minutes. Usually I don't stay under the dryer the whole time. I sit under the dryer for 15-20 minutes so the curls can start to take shape and then I air dry the rest of the way. I usually do my flexis on a saturday when I have nothing to do so i never really calculate the airdrying time. Remember to post some pics when you're done!

Bumping.......I keep hearing these things take like 2 and 3 hrs to dry under the dryer:blush:. I was thinking it would be quicker since the hair is spread out on the roller.

I was just thinking about this!

I would love to hear from Natural 4 a/b and cs for this....
Hair dryer how long?
Air dry how long?
How long with curlformers?

Ditto. Only I use and ION soft bonnet dryer and my hair is NOT thick, but it holds water like no other. (If i rinse my hair lightly in the morning, it's still pretty damp by the end of the work day if I wear it any other way but out.)

i have rolled my hair with rods (perm rods). My hair is shoulder length, med. thickness and it take me about an hour and 15 minutes to dry...

ETA: I have a hard top ION dryer.

I was going to do this on my daughter's hair but it got to late. So I ended up blowing it dry and using flexi rods on her dry hair and sending it to bed. I will post pictures later. I came out really nice. But I will try this on her wet hair.
