Naturals who don't use heat, trimming?

How do you trim your hair without straightening it?

I have read that people set their hair in twists and then just cut the ends. For people that don't wear their hair straight its that not important that its even.

yeah that makes sense...I think I was thinking for health purposes maybe? Eventually I do want to straighten though, just not yet

The last time I trimmed , I saturated my hair in deep conditioner (thick consistency and stretched my hair then clipped the ends using the salon technique.

I'm a 3c4a. It works for me.
