Naturals that flat iron...

I Am So Blessed

I'm easy going.
please tell me what do you use to moisturize your straight hair? im trying to do the straight/curly look. but i cant find a good moisturizer. i need a moisturizer that wont take away my straightness. i dont really want to use oil becuase i know that oil just coats the hair....thanks in advance:look:

Well no, not all oils coat the hair, there are many natural oils that are moisturizing and penetrate the hair shaft like olive oil and coconut oil for example.

To moisturize pressed hair I highly recommend extra virgin coconut oil, its super light, leaves your hair shiny and sinks into your hair in no time:yep:

I use the emerald labs organic food grade brand from GNC here it is:

Yes coconut oil is the best. I get mine from Whole Foods. Remember to be light handed with it though. If you use to much it can weigh your hair down. HTH!

thanks ladies. i actually have olive oil and coconut oil in my cabenet right now. ill go try them. glad i dont have to go to the store now.

Olive Oil is all I use while my hair is straight, If I do a half up half down style I use Qhemets Olive&honey hydrating balm on my edges, very minimal product is best when straightened
