How do you do silkening process that is done in the salons(such as Too Groovy) at home?

Like that Ms Jessies Silkening process they do to "soften" the curls. I thought all silkners go on/are applied like a relaxer, you just don't comb through it to make it bone straight and leave it on for a short amount of time...like a texturizer?

Thank you for the responses. But I'm referring to the process they use at Too Groovy. They flat iron natural hair but they do something with the blow dry/flat iron that makes the hair uber silky.

Hello Indefinite,

I have a long description of my visit to groovy in my fotki. Also I put up a link with a detail video that was listed on youtube. I hope that helps!
