I've seen a lot of naturals sporting phonypuffs and I'm dying to know where y'all buy them. Do they look natural( do they look like real hair?).

You should be able to get them from your local beauty supply. They're also sold online, but I haven't tried that yet, because I was concerned about matching hair color.

My phoney curly puffs have been mistaken for my own hair many times. But the naturalness came after wearing them for a short while so that they got a little frizz. Fresh out of the package, they are not as believable.

Here is one site that offers some styles, but I they don't seem to have the afro puff, just straight and curly... http://www.drlocks.net/drawstring_ponytails.htm

i wear one now and got it from my bss for $10. it goes perfectly with my hair texture and i get many compliments on it...

See? That's wht I love this site!

Now, my own hair is not long enough to pull into a pony tail to attach a drawstring; do any of these puffs come with the hair comb to slide it in place? I essentially need a piece that is almost as wide as a quick weave/fall since I don't have a pony.

Bettydavis, those puffs in that lin you gave were off da hook! I can't wait to buy one!!

I know, this site is awesome ain't it!! The one I have has a little comb in it and a drawstring. I don't know about the other ones though, but I think most would usually come with a comb.

Now that I'm looking at some of the other ones I'm feeling like buying another one too. The cozy is about the same size as my real puff now, I want a really big one like from the first link...Hmm..

Yeah bettydavis. I'm all about having a monster puff! My own hair is about the length of the cozy. Tpp bad the pics aren't bigger because I'd like to see the texture pattern of each pony. . .I may take a chance on one though.

Oce upon a time, I LOVE the spring curl pony tail in the first link! Do thes pieces have combs inside them?

Now I know what I'm going to do with my hair when I take the braids out. Thanks ladies!

Yeah, I like the phonies on that site, but the pics are not big enough to see any detail. They are a bit pricey at $35, but they are cute. . .

the phonypony i put into my niece's hair had a comb on the top and it came to in a pack, hence the reason I put her hair into two puffs.

I've just bought some. This is my summer protective hairstyle. The ones I bought are in a variety of styles and lengths for variety.
