Sorry I keep on posting about this stuff, but im really interested in going natural and I know you guys can help me

one year 2 months

I wanted enough hair to be able to pull into a pony/puff before I cut the ends off.

For me it was a long process...almost 2 years because I was really scared about cutting my hair all at once. Plus, during that time my hair was growing slowly for some reason so I was just trying to hang on to the lenght as long as I could. :perplexed

about 6 months. I freaked when i started seeing split ends and didn't want them going up in to my natural hair

I don't even think I can call mine a transition really. Once I decided to stop relaxing, I waited three months to cut it off.

About six months. The matting and tangling of my relaxed hair was insane. I just couldn't take it anymore.

I only lasted 2 months with the different textures. When i did the BC i had about 2 inches of new growth, but i cut it down to an inch.

I texturized for about a year, and it's been 7 months since my last application. The texturizer helped ease the tension btn the straight bits and the new growth. I'm trying to go at least a full year without chems before cutting the straight ends off completely. I don't want to lose my bun, lawd knows it took me long enough to grown it. :-)

I transitioned for five months. I didn't want to deal with two different textures of hair and became very inpatient, LOL.

I had even actually cut my hair around the 3rd month of transitioning from APL length to chin length. Then about 2 months later just chopped the rest of the relaxed hair off altogether.
