I've been natural for a while now, and when it's straightened, it's longer than my hair ever was relaxed. However, I do feel that now is the time to make an effort to retain length.
I've been experiencing a lot of shedding recently, so last week, I cut of an inch, I was
but I knew it had to be done, my hair looks and feels a lot better for it.
My routine will be:
Wash once a week with a cheap tea tree conditioner.
Deep condition once a week with hair mayo.
Twist/cornrow my hair with my shea butter mix (Shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, honey and glycerin)up for the week.
Cover my head with scarves (Or else I play and play and....)
Spritz hair with plain water every day and seal ends with shea butter combo.
Take down and repeat.
I'll try and take multivitamins, but not just for hair for overall health, I already drink a lot of water, and eat lots of veg.
I'll be putting my hair in extensions soon, maybe tomorrow, and will probably use the hair ladys' method to look after those.
What do you think, is this routine OK, can I tweek it to perfection?
