I did twists for the first time this morning, and I get the feeling that they're going to be smashed to my head tomorrow morning. Then I'll have to start all over. Any tips?

I tie my hair down w a silk scarf loosely..but enough to stay put...in the morning I just spritz mty twists fluff and go..or untwiwt them

Yeah what she said.

I never had a problem keeping my twists. I have used Carefree's method of wrapping twists before tying up with a scarf, or made a low ponytail, placing a few ponytailers loosely along the length before putting my scarf on. Twists done on dry, stretched hair seem to not crush as easily.
