Naturals how are you keeping your hair touchable?

My Mother has 4b hair and it took me a while to find what will keep her hair soft and moisturized....Cantu Shea Butter leave in works so well for her hair!!!! Her hair is soooooooooo soft and fluffy after. This is for now the ONLY product that has worked for her so far. :)

Yea I already have Cantu so that's even cheaper. I might pull it out and use it tomorrow.

I had the Mango and Shea lustrasilk and noticed it did define my hair but I used it as a DT. I did see Edise? Use it as a leave in and wanted to try that as well.

I use eco styler gel as my curl activator gel. I love it but it takes all day to dry.

Thanks for the suggestions I think I will try my Cantu and maybe try the Palmer's Hair milk and Also the Yes to Cucumbers.

Did I say I wanted fingers running through my hair? I just meant you know like if we lay down he can touch my hair or you know just be able to touch it without it being all wet and greasy. Not literally run his fingers through I know you can't do that with my hair.

BTW I do henna. I love henna and I also do alma and I have tons of Ayuvedric oils.

so it looks like majority is saying some kind of leave in and an oil. The only reason why I use gel is because it helps with my shrinkage. I have major shrinkage. today I cowashed and used some oil and my hair is still wet right now but still soft and I know when it does finally dry it will be soft but I just hate wet hair all day. I can't wash at night cause I will wake up to a matted fro in the morning.

Currently i found that sulfate free shampoos are what is really helping me keep it soft.. along with some pure shea butter and conditioner as leave in, it really does it

I have 2 that I like that, as a previous poster said, I don't have to re-moisturize everyday. I like HairVeda's Whipped Clouds (SheaAloe Butter) and AfroVeda's Kissi Seed Lotion. I use one or the other but with both I put the lotion on wet hair, run it through well and seal with extra virgin coconut oil.

HTH
Co-sign on the Whipped Cluods, and on the Afroveda. I prefer the Afroveda Miss Bhree lotion, but their butter moisturizers are also really good.
