I love and use a variety of oils for my skin and hair-

Extra virgin organic coconut oil
Avocado oil
Almond Oil
Castor Oil
Jojoba oil
Kera care essential oils
Africa's best oil (haven't bought this in a while though)

I use the coconut oil as a sealant on most days. I also use it for my skin.
I make a hair/body butter with shea butter, avocado, almond, castor & jojoba oil-love it!

I could not vote because i use many of the oils you have listed on your poll...I love sweet almond oil for daily sealing, extra virgin coconut oil for sealing after washes and added to mixes, vatika for sealing etc, castor oil for conditioner mixes, EVOO only when i don't have castor oil....I love oils in general and also use many for my skin regimen.

Not a natural, but no one could ever say my hair is lacking in texture

I use jojoba. It's heavy enough to stay on the hair and do a good job, light enough to not make the hair greasy, can penetrate into the hair and condition, is very similar to sebum and gives good shine!

Coconut oils of all types and jojoba...NEVER castor or evoo. For a heavier oil I'd choose almond or sesame oil.

I voted coconut oil for sealing and as part of my prepoo mix but I also sometimes mix EVOO in my conditioner

I REALLY wanted coconut oil to work as I buy it in bulk for cooking.
I REALLY wanted shea butter as I also buy in bulk for my skin.

So far EVOO has been the best at keeping my hair soft and moiosturized.

I havent tired castor oil yet but it's on my list of things to pick up

I like the following oils:

Jojoba - to mix in with my shampoos, conditioners, & leave-in conditioners
Castor oil - to thicken edges and provide moisture
Coconut - as in HairVeda's Vatika Frosting as an overrall scalp & hair mositurizer.

I use mostly EVOO and Coconut Oil. I tried Jojoba early in my natural journey and it left me feeling only "meh." I might try it again soon.

I love avocado mixed with my AO HSR for a DC, coconut for sealing (this stuff resurrects braids which are weeks old after a DC)

I also enjoy peppermint oil on my scalp during a DC, really delivers on the tingle stimulation level.

ETA: EVOO did nothing for my hair, but my skin loves it, along with EVCO - regular moisturisers aren't cutting it on my skin in this English cold weather!

I voted other - camellia oil. I buy 16 ounces from oilsbynature.com and including shipping, it is less than ten bucks and lasts a very long time - I order maybe twice a year. Cameliia oil is very light and said to have sunscreen properties which I believe because my hair no longer bleaches from the sun since I've been using it.

If you decide on jojoba or castor oil, try coastalscents.com - excellent prices.

I use a mix of avocado-coconut-amla oil and most importantly I use shea butter everywhere, it is the only thing that really seals in moisture and lets my hair breath.

A good blend of Essential Oils for Hair Growth, it works!
This has been posted before, it is not a new formula.

Hair Oil Recipe (Hair Growth)

3 drops of essential oil of thyme
3 drops of essential oil of lavender
3 drops of essential oil of rosemary
3 drops of essential oil of cedarwood
1/8 cup of grapeseed oil
1/8 cup of jojoba oil

Mix the ingredients together. Cover your pillow with an old towel. Apply several drops of the mixture to hair each night, massaging gently into scalp for 3-5 minutes.

Store the oil tightly covered.

Do not take internally or near the eye area.

I use coconut oil, but just overnight before I wash my hair. Oh and I'm a 2/3/4... I didn't know it was possible to have *that* many textures in your hair!
