Hi ladies, I don't know if this has been done already or not I couldn't find it in the search. Feel free to send me a link so that I don't repeat info.
I'm a 4a/4b relaxed with very picky hair. I'd like to know what hit or misses other 4a/b relaxed ladies have had with 'natural' product vendors, so that I can have a general idea of liked products as opposed to the "ahhhh, not so much" ones. I'd rather experiment on products that seem to work on women with hair similar to mine. Who knows maybe this thread will show me a trend with these products on my hair type?
These are the products I've tried recently (within the last 10 months).
Karen's Body Beautiful
Hits:
Hair Milk - great moisturizer for buns twist outs
Hair Cream - great moisturizer for buns and twist outs
Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner - Very moisturizing love both
Hair Nectar- great when weariing my hair straight a little goes far
Misses:
Luscious Locks - Just OK, not worth the price for my hair
Hair Butter - Too heavy doesn't do much for me
Hair oil - Just OK, I can mix my own that works just as good for cheaper
Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner - They work well but I just add a tablespoon of baking soda on shampoo and do ACV rinse when I want to clarify. So not worth the price for me.
Shescent it
Hits:
Moisture Mist Spray - Light mist is ok when sealed with oil when hair is down or for buns and twist outs.
On the fence:
[/b]Green Grape leave in - does the same thing as moisture mist but has more cones in it.[/b]
Misses:
Seyani Hair Butter - KBB's hair butter moisturized my hair better
Hydratherma Naturals
Misses:
Moisturzing growth lotion - was too heavy and made my hair hard
follicle invigorator - made my hair hard.
Carol's Daughter
Everything was a miss, my hair just doesn't take to her stuff AT ALL.
I'm interested in Qhemets Biologics hit or misses and Oyin too. But any 'natural' product hit or misses is welcome again, for the 4a/b relaxed hair type.
I would really appreciate the feedback!
Thanks!!
