Naturals, how do you test out a stylist? I know the rule for the relaxed set is to not let them do a chemical treatment but how are naturals suppose to find out how good a stylist is at straightening without risking our kinks?

Observe the stylist in action. Get referrals from their existing clients. Ask naturals with straight hair who does their hair. And if a stylist has a problem with them observing you, then that's a key signal to not let them do your hair.
