I read this today in Latina magazine (hey, don't sleep on it).

Boil one cup of chamomile tea. Allow to cool. Pour into spritzer bottle and spray liberally onto hair. Sit in sun for one hour. Hair should be 1-2 shades lighter.

I plan to try this next weekend when I'll be out in the sun.

I have some chamomile teabags that I had put in a spray bottle with water and conditioner and I used it to moisturize and revive my hair and I realized that when I was looking in the mirror near the sun my hair had some golden streaks. So I guess that the chamomile teabags did the trick. Avalon Organics also has a shampoo and conditioner that has chamomile in it that can create golden highlights as well. I also hear that lemon juice is also great for giving your hair natural highlights.

Would you spritz the lemon juice on the hair the same as with the tea? What are the cons of these natural hair lighteners?
