An 'experiment' by HairCrush/ Chime that's a twist on the Black Doll Experiment by Kenneth Clarke. Straight Euro hair vs Afro/ kinky hair. I guess it denotes the obvious, but it's also a reminder that we still have a lot of work to do.

^^ I knew y'all would say that! I actually wanted to make a tongue-in-cheek comment about them ends lol.

Either way, I thought the children's reasoning about WHY they chose the other doll was interesting. Because of their thought process, I don't know if they'd have chosen the kinky hair had it been LHCF styled. But there's always room for improvement in any experiment, hopefully she can do a better styling job next time.

Its like she found the craziest looking unkempt hair. I would have picked the other doll too. Could she at least made the natural hair look how it should? It looked like a crazy blow dried stringy mess.

No matter how much you tell a child that kinky hair is gorgeous if mom has straight hair then the child will think straight hair is preferred.

I'd love to see a test with children of natural mothers versus relaxed mothers to see if my theory holds true.
