Hey ladies... I had to post my results after using Nacidit Crema Acondicionadora Aceite De Oliva (a dominican conditioner). My hair is now soft, bouncy, shiny, and beautiful. This is my new staple DC. Here's what I did:

1) prepoo (Nexxus humectin +EVOO + honey)
2) shampoo (Nexxus therappe)
3) oil rinse (EVOO)
4) dc (Nacidit Crema Acondicionadora Aceite De Oliva + honey + EVOO)
5) rollerset (Sebastian Body Double Thick-in Conditioner)

I added these TWEAKS:
*last rinse: cold water (to flatten cuticle)
*towel blot hair before adding DC (to increase absorption)
*DC/Prepoo in 3 -15 min session (to increase penetration of DC)
*add EVOO and honey to prepoo and DC
*heat EVOO before using it for oil rinse or mixes (to increase absorption)

******************************************
RESULTS of PREPOO: Since my hair was feeling drier than normal, I prepooed with a DC instead of a protein prepoo. I heated my oil by putting the bottle into a glass of boiling water. Then I prepooed (humectin + hot oil +honey) in 3 -15 minute intervals (1) dc on entire head, (2) dc on ends/delicate areas, (3) dc on ends/delicate areas. I parted my hair into 4 sections for the prepoo. While I was applying the conditioner I forgot the honey at first so I did one section with the conditioner and the oil and then when I added the honey to the mix and did another section, I felt an extreme difference between the two sections. WOW...Honey is great! My hair loves it.

RESULTS of the shampoo: It was a great experience. I really did not lose that much hair because I used the crown and glory method of washing my hair in sections. I did four sections and shampooed and conditioned each section separately. I'll keep doing it this way!

RESULTS of DC: WOW...I think I found a new DC. The Nacidit mixed with olive oil and honey is superb! As I was rinsing out the DC mix, my hair was detangled perfectly. I am so happy with that DC I will make it my new DC. It's even better than Nexxus Humectress or Humectin (my previous staples) so I will use Nexxus Humectress to Prepoo from now on!

FINAL RESULTS. So I rollerset overnight and went under the dryer for 20 minutes when I woke up. Then I took out the rollers and WOW. My hair is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! Its softer, darker, bouncy, moisturized, and yet it feels strong--not mushy. I can't believe its my hair. I am 4 weeks post-relaxer and my hair looks amazing. I think the modifications I made to my regimen this time made the difference--prepooing with a moisturizing conditioner, adding honey and EVOO to conditioners, doing a final cold rinse, conditioning in 3 - 15 minute intervals, and using NACIDIT! I am so excited about my hair right now!!!:grin::grin:

***sorry no pics...I'm hiding my hair until I finish the Final Bootcamp!***

This is a great conditioner, I haven't used it in three years but it was soo good. I want to try all the "flavors" :lick:

I am glad you had those results. This year I bought about five dominican condits that were ok, or did nothing for me. One of the last I bought was Nacidit olive oil. I was like wooooooow!:lick: the first time I used it. If only I bought this first! :wallbash:I add some olive, avocado, coconut, almond oil to mine, but I will be trying the honey. The stuff is reallllly good straight, though. I also have the avocado and honey and almond which is a white cream. I will try the honey n almond this week. Definitely staples, mmkay? The best part is they come in salon sizes!!!

Please post your review on that one! I really want to start branching out of the more expensive products since I wash every 3-4 days. Since I used Nexxus Humectress as my staple, I'm thrilled that Nacidit is better and cheaper!

I have become a great believer in the Dominican products now:yep:. I LOVE the Alter Ego Coconut Mask and the Capilo Sole and Cinnamon Conditioner. I want to try a couple of their rinses as well. I also may try other products from the Alter Ego Line because I love it so much.
I may have to try the one you have mentioned too. They are some of the best products I've EVER used and I've used many many many in my years---high end and low end.....these products are great!

I just came in from my walk with 2 of my walk buddies and I'm going to wash my hair now before we (the family) go out again later. I'll be using the Alter Ego to DC.

Your hair in the avatar is amazing!!! if it looks better than that then WOOOoooo HOoooo for you!! COngrats.....

I have a question: How do you do an Oil Rinse? It that just appling oil after you shampoo and condition?

this is definitely on my wish list. Its not super expensive, I just nee the patience to wait for delivery:wallbash:

I bought this on Amazon and got it two days later. I used it last night, and it has definitely become my staple DC. I am four weeks post-relaxer, but my new growth was a tangled mess. This DC was great for detangling and adding moisture.

2 days huh? That is workable. I am bit OCD when it comes to my hair now that I have a little length again, lol.

I  this conditioner without heat! I was using it with heat for 15 minutes but for me it works so much better without it...I leave it on for a while and rinse...I hate to say it but my hair felt even better after using this than it did when I was using the Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner.

Ooohhh...don't get me started on more dominican products. I am already a product junkie. When I go into a beauty supply store I make someone go with me in case they have to do an intervention to stop me from buying more stuff. Wow...but if those conditioners are anything like Nacidit, I might have to try them too!:lick:

Great because I was going to try Kenra...but if I can get the same effect with a cheaper product...that's even better!:spinning:

Thanks a bunch. The oil rinse was simple. After I shampoo, I take the oil (which I warmed) and apply it. Then I put a plastic cap on and leave it on for about 10 mins while I shave or put on a face mask. Then I rinse out the oil. The end! Now I can apply my deep conditioner. The oil rinse helps me detangle and gives my hair great shine. I love it!:drunk:

I love the Nacidit Olive cond as well. It's one that I use when I have quite a bit of ng. I luvs me some Dom cond too! Miss Key Wheat is my fav. I'm cond right now with some 10 en 1 and Crom emergencee mixed together. I also add some peppermint, rosemary and ylang ylang oils. Oh, and a drop of sweet almond oil. Don't you just love hair day:grin:!

Not trying to sway you one way or the other but the Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner is really good too. I haven't used it in a while but it's been a staple for years...this spring/summer I used Dominican products exclusively. I plan to switch back to Kenra now that
it's fall.<---We'll see if it still lives up to its name but if not I can just use the Dominican products exclusively. My logic is that I wanted to use something lighter in the summer and switch it up to heavier conditoners in the fall/winter. However, the Nacidit Olive Oil Conditioner makes my hair feel great...but Kenra is my first love (sadly something might be taking its place)...just had to come in here and say that, lol.

Oh ok THANKS!!!!

I went to a CVS up to the pharmacy in the back and asked for it and they ordered it for me since it wasn't available on the shelves. I paid less than 2 dollars for a 4oz bottle.

Wow thats so cheap. That's great. Good for you for being so assertive and getting them to order it for you...you go girl!:yep:

The pharmacist actually just offered once I asked for it. If you want to get it, I suggest going straight to a pharmacist because I checked a Duane Reade and the staff member I asked had NO idea what I was talking about. She asked the pharmacist there and he said that it's not something they typically stock on the shelves anymore.

I did see some at a Korean store/ vegetable stand but I'm sure it will be more expensive there. Definitely go to a CVS. I'm not sure where you work, but I got mine at the CVS on 53rd and Lexington.

The brand is Swan and the bottle is just like this:
