I'm kind of in love with it!

I bought it from hairsisters: http://www.hairsisters.com/ver2/Vie...rtName=product_sort&sortValue=desc&type=style

So my questions are: how do I maintain a wig? How often should I wash it, etc? I'm going to run out and buy a mannequin head to place it on; what else should I buy for it? Thanks!! :)

That's a cute wig! It looks great on you.

I've never washed any of my wigs and I've never had a need to so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Wigs do last the longest when they're kept in the plastic and not left laying around and getting beat up.

I also wouldn't add products or anything to it. It's a synthetic wig and not a lacefront, so it's really not going to hold up for that. If you treat it well it should last at least a month with daily wear.

thanks everyone! I'm so excited. It'll be a nice change of pace on the weekend from my TWA (I'm not brave enough to wear it to work yet!)

Wigs have saved me many a time. Just make sure you're taking care of your TWA underneath. I'd suggest wearing a wig cap or scarf so that your hair can stay moisturized.

Oh and you may want to buy another of the same wig, just to have it on hand since you like it so much.

I'd keep it in the plastic. The mannequin head never made much of a difference to me.

and I loooooove hairsisters.com!! Their prices are excellent!

I've been on a fall/half wig kick since January.

I don't know much about maintaining them.
I just put it back in that lil plastic bag that it comes in, at the end of the day.

I do use that wig spray in the blue can---especially after a week or so, if it starts to look dry, but that's not very often.

I wear a satin hair cover over my hair--then a doo wag under my wigs. The doo-rags helps the wig stay on much better than those nylon wig caps.

I only wear mine about a month---then when it starts to look old, I throw it out!
I never wash them. I'm hooked on this one style, so I bought 3 or 4 of them to have on hand.
