Yesterday I got my first full sew in weave. My appointment was at 1 and it was my first time going so I got there at 12:45. AT THREE O' CLOCK she asked me if I had washed my hair and had someone else wash it. They put conditioner on my hair and let it set for 40 minutes. She washed it out and then proceeded to blowdry and do vertical braids. AN HOUR LATER I finally got the weave. It turned out really nice but if my SO wasn't there the whole time I don't know how I would have been able to stay without blowing up. And it cost 100.00 with no discount because of the lateness.

I really like it though. She left out pieces in the front but you really can't tell at all. Its layered and the longest pieces are near bra-strap length. I think the longest pieces are a little too long and now I know that my final goal for right now is APL! I know that's weird to say but maybe my real hair at BSL would look different.

I think my regimen will be surge or braid spray everyday and oil.
At night I will use MTG.
For the front pieces I will use my NTM leave in and oil.
I think I will wash every 1-1 1/2 weeks.
Im only leaving it up for about 5 or 6 weeks because of this horrible thread I was reading talking about matting and dreading underneath the weave. That thread almost scared me into not getting the weave.

Man I want to go to hair school so I can do this myself!

Do tell why you stayed until 3 O'Clock for an appt that was at 1? You're better than me, cuz I woulda been outta there!!!!

Your weave looks really pretty! God must have blessed you with patience, cuz i would have lost my cool around 1:30. I'm still trying to figure out my own regimen, but as long as you take care of your hair underneath, I'm sure you'll do fine! Happy hair growing!

It looks VERY natural. I wouldn't have realized that the pic was the weave pic until I read the caption.

Your weave looks beautiful and natural. Thats how a weave is supposed to look. I hope I can find someone to do my weave like that.
