My Transition is over...PIC HEAVY

Hey All,

I decided to end my transition. I just came to the conclusion that my relaxed ends were never going to be what I wanted them to be regardless of how much I trimmed. They were just thinning and disgusting. So I figured, why not start out the new year as a natural. I am so excited...I feel so great and I just can't stop playing in my hair. I have some pics for you guys as well.

This is from my length check I did the day before yesterday...I was full waist length and getting close to hip length. My hair grows pretty fast so I am not concerned with the loss of length....

This is my curl in the back..please excuse the back acne. I know it is horrible, but I have been having a really hard time getting rid of it.

This is my hair stretched to BSL. I am very happy with this as a length. My bra strap sits low since I have bigger boobs, so my hair grown a lot in two years. From scalp to 2yrs is BSL. I am pretty happy with that.:grin:

I am over the moon excited and can't wait to play in my hair. I love it so far and it was the best decision. :yep:
 
Congratulations!

I'm trying to wait until later in the year before BCing - but all the BC threads are making it mighty, mighty hard :spinning:

Your are doing a long term transition as well, right? sipp100. For some reason, I think I remember that you are! Good Luck with your transition and when will you BC?

Is my siggy showing up? Anyways, I've been transitioning for 32 months. The hair behind my ears is natural and BSL, but the crown has 5" of relaxed hair on the ends. I like all my hair to be the same length all the way around, so I refuse to cut the crown and front. I've got "layer-phobia" lol

Only problem with this phobia is that I'll have to cut 5" of perfectly good natural hair in the back when I finally BC - the only way to avoid natural layers :sad:

I may need an intervention :lachen:

I am so excited to be fully natural. To be honest, you recent pics helped me to take the plunge. Only because you are at BSL and your hair is lovely. I figured BSL was a great place to start my fully natural journey! :grin:

Your hair is absolutely stunning! Also a huge inspiration, I am nearly a year post BC (11 months and nearly SL) and I can't wait to get where you are!!!
