My Sebastian Coulourshines rinse was a success!

I finally got up the nerve to color my hair with the Cinnamon rinse and I think the results are GORGEOUS. My hair feel so conditioned and airy, and it has a shine that is out of this world. My natural hair is dark brown so you can only see the redness when i am in the light. I was scared to try it but i must say that i am very happy with the results. Thanks ladies for giving me info about applying a color rinse by myself....

I think that my hair is overall tinted reddish but i can see that some spots are redder than others....I wonder how to avoid this? Oh well, no big deal. If my hair stays conditioned and fluffy-soft and shiny like this...i'll have to continue to do a rinse every month....

Happy to hear about your results. Sebestian is a good product. May try this down the road. :)

Ummm, what she said :) Glad that it worked great for you :)

Yea i know, its time for me to go public and reveal my progress....I've been putting it off until I get at least 1 more inch of growth so i can post before/after pics.

I'll see if i can get the good ol' fiance to help a sista out and take a pic and post it....

Girl, I cannot even BELIEVE you came up in here with a post about color and have no picks to show for...hmmmf...don't be playing

Yeah, I wanna see pics too!

As far as the different colors, this happens to me too. I have this one patch of hair in the front that soaks up my rinses like crazy... That spot will be all bright while the rest hardly shows...

Parts of your hair may be more porous than other parts and therefore "soaked" up more color. You can try using Porosity Control conditioner before you do a chemical service (and some do it after, too) for more even results. You can do a search on this product to get more info.
