Thanks for all the compliments ladies. I'm so glad I'm finally finding protective styles that look good on me. Especially since I'm trying to stretch my relaxers by going to the dominican salon once per week, now right after I get home I put it in a protective style since my roots are really growing. I'm going to try twisting the hair different ways like Puddles suggested and see what other styles I come up with. I may eventually get a few more ponies with different clips.

I'll post additional pics when I come up with additional styles. I hope this helps someone who wants to protective style their hair.

OOO, and another thing, I've noticed other women staring at my hair, and a few gave me compliments, like 'How'd you do that, that looks so beautiful'.

You'd be surprised ponytail does not need to be long. You just have to get your hair to gather in one place even if you use pins to do it. Then take the phony pony and slide the clip through the hair like a barette and close. It does not have to be clipped directly onto your ponytail, you can place it above.
