@I Am So Blessed, by the way, glad you're back. I have been trying to keep this thread alive because the method here is incredibly effective and never mind how easy on my pocket it is too :giggle:. I think everyone here, newbie and hair veterans alike should see this at least once.
Awww. Thank you @Aggie !!.

I agree. They need to see that it's cheap to grow hair. Hair does not require name brands or over hyped products. LOL I love you Aggie.

I like TGIN products to but dam 10 - 14$ for hair products is ridiculous. especially when you see people retaining unicorn hair for $5.22 queen helene lol.
I was in Walmart searching for this thread so I could buy some of the products lol. Tgin honey miracle mask deep conditioner is good but the price is ridiculous. If queen Helene can do the same thing for only $5.22, I'm all for it.

I am still using this method on my hair at least once a week. I just M & S with this yesterday. It seems like I really don't actually need to until about 2 weeks though. That's how long the moisture lasts :yep:.

This is crazy I was looking for info on the “Crown and Glory Method” from back in the day when my hair grew like a weed in braids and the regimen was very similar.. I remember using the Cream of Nature Shampoo, Lekair Cholesterol, S curl Activator spray, wild growth oil and Surge. I’m back in braids (Keri Hilson style) and hoping to keep my hair protected for a year using a similar regimen. I can definitely attest to the cholesterol and S Curl for sure!

HI there :wave:

When you say updates, I'd imagine that you mean growth wise. My hair is responding well to the juice and BM Grease is all I can say.

My hair stays soft for days on end plus wash days are not so difficult anymore since my hair still has grease in it when I do decide to wash it. Even my henna days are easier.

What can I say except there is no going back to other moisturizers. I have been giving away so many of the moisturizers that were in my stash because I really don't feel like I need them anymore.

I still have maybe 2 or 3 moisturizers left and I am trying to at least use them up over my juice, but sealed in the BM grease. It's a hit that remained a hit and it's cheap too.

@ilong - hey there :). My hair feels much more healthier and moisturized. I also don’t have to moisturize my hair that often. I’m glad I came across this thread. I really like the cholesterol conditioner. How is your hair growth coming along?

@Aggie and @natural2008 - thank you for the updates. I was hoping you ladies would respond back that you're still on the regimen and it's working for you. I don't purchase expensive/fancy products, so this regimen with "back in the day" low cost products is right up my alley. Weather is cold where I live so I'm back under wigs for a while, and I wear a hair bonnet underneath, which can be drying.

@ilong - the "back in the day" regimen works so much better for me. I wasted so much money on products that did no work and became a product junkie, lol. I now stock up on hair grease, curl activator, and cholesterol, lol :).
@natural2008 - I agree with you. And "back in the day", you didn't see the "hair" :look: on heads that we see now. Although "Mama's" in the day tore those scalps up with the hot comb. :lachen:

But... I recently stumbled across some Paltas products I purchased in 2013. :look: Never mind the shelf life. :lachen:I put some on my hair Monday and Tuesday nights and I can't keep my hands out of my hair. It's so shiny and silky I'm :love4:. I've already messaged the supplier (in UK) to see what it will cost for me to get some more shipped to US. Wish I had an upcoming business trip to the UK. :lol:

@ilong

Cheaper and on the ground is the direction I am moving my hair product purchases as much as I possibly can :yep:.

This method is not only cheaper but it's also keeping my hair on my head and I can't beat that.

I just wished I could find my Jamila henna and indigo on the ground too but they are not sold here in the Bahamas as far as I know.

@natural2008,

I have gone cheaper but still have quite a bit of the cheaper products in my stash, so the PJism has not yet left my building :lol:. I'm working on it though.

*smilling* :D Hey! My regimen is still the same. And as for length, I posted a pic on page 2 of the HL challenge. I will be back in this thread in April for another "one year" update. I STILL JUST USE GREASE, CURL ACTIVATOR, and Hollywood Beauty Cholesterol on my 4B hair :cool2:.

Litterally that's all I use....:look:

Thank you for asking :giveheart:
