My New Kinky Curly Weave! (With Pics)

Hi ladies! This is my first "hair porn" post and I'm very excited!
I bit the bullet and splurged on some quality hair. I bought the hair from www.allaboutmyhair.com

I bought 4 oz of 20" and 4 oz of 16". I dyed them both black with Bigen (Oriental black) to match my natural hair color.

My braid pattern was very rinkydinkerplexed. I can't braid very well so it took forever to braid my base but I finally did it! The braiding + weaving took about 5 hours to do.

I'm very happy with the result it looks more full than the first time I tried it. The first time I left entirely too much hair out so my shorter hair with the longer hair made it look like I had a mullet-do going on. (Pictures of the first try are in my LHCF album)

Tell me what you ladies think! Any tips or constructive criticisms are welcome!

This was actually my second try the first time, I had tracks showin' and everythang! After the first try I learned from my mistakes and it came out much better!

Because of my rinkydink braids, I'll only keep it in for 4-6 weeks.

YouTube was my best friend in learning how to cornrow, the braiding patterns, then how to actually sew the weave in.

I did them going straight back. I wasn't good enough to do the circular braid pattern. And it was pretty quick.
