My New Kinky Curly Weave! (With Pics)

Hi ladies! This is my first "hair porn" post and I'm very excited!
I bit the bullet and splurged on some quality hair. I bought the hair from www.allaboutmyhair.com

I bought 4 oz of 20" and 4 oz of 16". I dyed them both black with Bigen (Oriental black) to match my natural hair color.

My braid pattern was very rinkydink:perplexed. I can't braid very well so it took forever to braid my base but I finally did it! The braiding + weaving took about 5 hours to do.

I'm very happy with the result it looks more full than the first time I tried it. The first time I left entirely too much hair out so my shorter hair with the longer hair made it look like I had a mullet-do going on.:lachen: (Pictures of the first try are in my LHCF album)

Tell me what you ladies think! Any tips or constructive criticisms are welcome!:look:

Here's the pics: Pictures of the front are on Page 2!

WOW! It looks so great! SO natural looking!!! I really need to get like you and learn how to do my own sew ins... fantastic!

1st try? Great job!!!! How long do you plan on keeping it?

This was actually my second try the first time, I had tracks showin' and everythang!:lachen: After the first try I learned from my mistakes and it came out much better!

Because of my rinkydink braids, I'll only keep it in for 4-6 weeks.

I love it! I am going to reinstall my HCN and I think I am going to do cornrows going straight back because it seems it will be faster.

Thank you!

I did them going straight back. I wasn't good enough to do the circular braid pattern. And it was pretty quick.

It looks great. I wish I could see the top/front of your hair to see how much leave out hair you have left.

I currently have this hair installed and I love it! its very natural and blends fairly easily with my leave-out. What products do you use on it to moisturize it?
