My NAPE is finally growing!!!!

After years constant breakage and ultra short hair back there its finally coming to life. I have about two inches which is excellent for me, I usually dont even have enough to comb, that how bad the breakage was. I've been hardly relaxing that area, just enought to loosen the kinks, and keeping it moisturized constantly, and its paying off. Thanks for the tips everyone!!

I use Cantu Break Cure treatment from Walmart.

That is great news! My nape area was a problem for me in the past too. Since I've been handling it separately from the rest of my hair its been smooth sailing.

YAY!!

I was having the same problems until I found this board. Now i have enough nape hair to fit in a low bun. I am pleased with the results I got from daily conditioner washing and moisturizing 2x daily with any ol leave-in that has glycerin in the first couple of ingredients.

You can use it all over your head. Its really an over night treatment,but it can be used as a daily moisturizer too.

Yay! I'm happy for you DigitalRain! I'm going to look for Cantu Break Cure next time I'm at Walmart.

Mine is coming along too. I still have a few more extended weeks to go before relaxing and I'm going to leave my nape alone this time.
