That is beautiful - the definition is outrageous. Did you do it on wet or dry hair?

Yes, you read that right. I've been natural for 5+ years and last night I did my FIRST twistout (I only did 8 twists) ....

(really just a wash n' go girl but got tired of the wet head since I've given up heat and needed something 'else')

The report: Even though it looks very similar to my natural curl pattern (I separated the twists and did a light finger rake), I really, really enjoy the controlled definition with the softness that's missing when I use a holding product with my usual wash n' go. Whaddya think?!

I have the same experience w/twist-outs! Somewhat similar to my curls but much more softer and sleeker. A lot of people ask why i even fool with them because they look similar to my wng's but to me there's a big difference.

I love my wng's too though. This is just another look/styling option for me.

Yours is very pretty!

Wow beautiful twistout and the very simple process.

I hope my hair looks like that one day! Absolutely beautiful!!

WOW!! That is sooo pretty! Must revisit twist-outs again

I'm so jealous that you achieved this lovely look with only 8 twists! Love it!

Good job and it's beautiful :yep:

I've been doing twist outs for the past couple of weeks and love it. I put in about 20 twist which I redo every night for definition and to cut down on breakage.

I like having a wash-n-go look without wet hair.

Thanks for sharing.

Very pretty! You did a great job. Oh and there is hope for me. I can't cornrow either.
