When I was relaxed they were horrible! Always breaking off! I had to get a lil brush to brush them off of me after styling my hair. I say they were that way because I didn't know the true meeaning of taking care of ny hair especially my ends.

Yeah I figured your reggie wouldn't reveal anything big because your hair looks more genetic than anything. Reminds me of mines before it started falling out.

Its not much but it works for me.....here it goes.

Wash every other week with treseme naturals shampoo(pre poo with mane n tail these weeks)
Every alternate week I co wash with v05 strawberries
DC every week alternate ORS pack and Shea Moisture DEep Treatment Mask
I do a ACV rinse.
I finger detangle while washing. Then I SIT DOWN to detangle. I'm lazy!
I use a 1part glycerin 3parts distilled water n spray my hair. I add lots of Giovanni Direct leave in. Then I detangle with just a wide tooth comb. I seal my WET ends with castor oil.


Styles: mostly braid outs, no wash and go's out, only wash and go ponys or wet buns, and other random styles. I'm not a big PS I try but I'm focus really hard on keeping my ends hydrated and sealed.

I dust/trim my own ends now using feye method but before I went to Supercuts.

You make this assumption based on 3 pictures of my hair? That what is genetic? Type?(Of course type is genetic) Length?(All heads have potential to be long) Thickness? (Cause my hair was thin when I was relaxed). Length to me is about what you retain and I have worked my arse off and just as hard as any other woman on this board to retain what is growing out my head. Cause all heads grow just retaining it is the problem. It took techniques(PS, sealing ends,ect), products, and tools to get my hair where it is now. While it grows out by genetics(0.01%) I work hard 99.9% to keep what comes out my scalp. I thought this was common knowledge on this site that even 1a hair can be ratty and damaged without proper practices. Growing hair is genetic but taking care of it and keeping it in my case genetics had nothing to do with it. My own tow hands did!
