My Feelings are Hurt

Hey ladies:

It's me again. I am still looking for a job. I have not been in the forum in a while because of my job search. I did have an interview that "I thought" went well in the beginning of this month.

However, they wanted someone with more recent expereince. I have beenout of work since Nov 08. People who are working. Don't seem to undertand the economy and how difficult it is out there. They are soquick to say.. well why have you been out of work so long?

If you are unemployed. You don't have money to go to school. You can't get blood from a turnip.

I actully talked with someone yesterday whohad mercy and is going to submit my resume. She needs references. However, the managers that I have requested references from are totally ignoring my emails and phone calls (that hurts)

The only fumes that I am running on is Faith. People who don't have the comfort of God, Ir eally wonder how they are coping as it is difficult coping WITH him. SMH.

Please keep me in prayer.

Fumes of Faith are more powerful than any other resume or connection. Boldy trust God. Proclaim His word. Trust Him as your ultimate PROVIDER and be busy about doing His work in your spare time and He will meet every need.

I will be praying for you and God's favor upon your life.

:bighug: Don't get discouraged, there are good things await if you only have faith. My family and I will pray for you.

Vent a little, cry, talk to us, but keep doing what you are doing. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. This is something we see all around us. My church member just got a job after being unemployed for 2 years!! An excellent job:dollar:. She expressed a lot of the same feelings you are feeling but she stayed busy and kept praying. Many times things did not appear to be going her way.:nono: Long story short, the job she got was created for her. She had an interview but did not get the position. One of the mgrs was so impressed with her until she brought her name back up again before her supervisors. She held out on some things in her department's fiscal budget for 2011-2012 to make a position and salary for my church member. Try to get feedback from those who didn't hire you so that you can learn from it. Always send thank yous and ask if there are other professional colleagues you can speak to at other companies etc to find out what sort of things they are looking for in potential employees right now. They may not say it but you never know who is watching you. Someone you think may have written you off may just be biding their time. Keep asking God what he wants you to be doing and learning from this season of your life. Here is another passage I know you know, but it fits. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. God is good and prayer works. The manager who actually said that I had a refrence for life responded to an email that I sent her last week and said that whe would give a reference and told me what email to use for teh reference. see what God can do?
