It's beautiful...I like it. Maybe I'll try the "cheat set" since I can't do a full head of rollersetting.

Poka...you know you are my she-ro!

I can't wait until my hair grows up to be just like yours....:yep:

It's beautiful...love it, as usual!

I love the shine and health of your hair!!!!

Do you have a link to your routine?

I'd really love to see it :yep:

I will be trying this type of set.

Quick question though.
Is your hair wet or dry before puting it in the ponytail?
Are rewetting the ends?

It's wet when I put it in the ponytail and I re-wet each section as I roll it.

Keep in mind guys, this is not the smoothest type of set and it will probably be a little crinkly where the pony is (it takes long to dry right there too) but none of these things bother me. I doubt if everyone will like the results but it's just another styling option and it works great for me. I love how quick I can do it.

Do you do anything special to get the hair so smooth before you put the rollers on?

BTW, I love the ponytail. It has such fullness and shine.

I just used a little lacio lacio and sprayed lottabody on each section. To get it smooth I used a wide tooth comb first then comed it straight with a fine tooth comb, and rolled each section very taught, pulling and stretching the curls as I rolled. This helped it dry very smooth. At night I do a cross wrap and it has smoothed out quite nicely now. It's not as poofy as it was.

Looks very nice. Did you sit under a dryer? My hair would take forever to air dry with rollers.

Yes, definitely. I don't think I would ever have the patience to air dry, lol. I sat under the dryer for an hour and a half. It took me 2 and a half hours (including wash, deep condition, and drying time) to do this set.

That's very pretty. I do something like that too except i do it in two ponytails on damp hair and 4 pony tails on wet hair!

Thats an awesome technique:yep:. Your hair is too pretty:grin:. It reminds me of hairloves.I wish I could do that with my hair but my crown is too thick and frizzy acting for it to lay straight on the rollers, regardless of how wet it is:ohwell:

Ya know, I thought about trying 2 ponytails but I wasn't sure if I could get the rollers to act right. I might give it a try one day.

thanks so much for this thread. I have been debating about giving up rollersets because I felt too much heat was blowing on the front of my hair ,which is the most fragile. But the way you "cheat" with the set may solve that concern for me. thanks for the great tip :)
