I don’t know if this has already been mentioned here but today I made a bun with a sock. It looked nice but I didn’t want my ends rubbing against the material so it tried a baggy. I basically just tied the baggy around the base of my ponytail and tucked the ends of the tied part under the rest of the baggy. I then just made a bun the same way you would with the foam donut thingy- whatever you call it (chignon?). Maybe I’ll try the foam thing and wrap it in plastic wrap, but this bun doesn’t look too bad, and I just slapped it in there real quickly. I think this is a good way to make a bun without drying out the ends. If the pic doesn’t show here it’s in my Fotki in the May album labeled baggy bun. The other three were done with the sock. Just thought I’d share.
