softblackcotton - do you cut/trim alot? Right now I can say that I probably just completed my first year with growth similar to Reniece's. I've retained quite a lot of hair because I stopped cutting and will only dust or lightly trim and I made changes to my diet and my use of shampoo (once a month). She gives her own pointers in the description of her video. Also, don't forget many of us have been where you are and we're here to help. I started my hair journey in 2004 and I'm just now beginning to see results. If you wish, tell us what your regimen consists of.

I know how you feel but remember everyone's hair grows at different rates and certain practices that others use may or may not work for you.

I was SL when I started my journey and I still am b/c I do not know how to deal with the nape area while everywhere else is a good 9 to 12 inches. It may not be as extreme as in your case but you need to make an overhaul if that is where you're still at. I need to make an overhaul to my regimen myself b/c retaining the nape area has been a struggle. You can do this. What is your current reggie? Do you feel that it works for you?
