My SO has thinning hair, do you think MTG would work for this? If not, can anyone suggest a product (no pills please) that would help. TIA
I told him that if I could get rid of the smell, I would mix up a batch of MTG for him. I hope it works because in the meantime he has been teasing me with comments like 'stay away from open flames...and car exhaust - lest it backfire and I go up in flames with all that sulfur in my head' :ohwell:
I'd laugh if it wasn't at my expense, I mean i don't wanna encourage him or anything. However, between us girls... :lachen: :lachen: :lachen:

I am not sure if the mtg will help but I know that Rene furer (something like that) has a whole system for thinning hair. I like their lines because they focus on the scalp. They have 2 products for thinning hair. One is for trauma and the other is for hormonal reasons. Basically, you apply their base product called Complex 5 to the scalp. This product cleans the scalp with essential oils and brings blood to the surface of the scalp. Then I believe that you apply the hair loss treatment on top of the Complex 5. I am not sure but I am sure they have it on their web site. Anyway, you do this once a week for about 12 weeks then they recommend you stop for a year to 6 months so that your hair doesn't get "use to" it. The results you get from it stay around after the 12 weeks is up. I am not sure how well it works but I think the company is really focused on the health of the hair and scalp so I would give them a try. I even use the complex 5 just to keep my scalp clean.

has he tried nioxin products?

He hasn't tried anything as far as I know. I was gonna give MTG to him as a conditioner since he liked how shiny it made my hair. I was just hoping it could help with thinning hair as well.
I'll look into nioxin, a lady on another thread had speedy growth with this product. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

It wouldn't hurt him to try it. Mtg has thickened up my hair, even in its damaged state! :D
