MTG Directions?

Ok so I need directions on how to use MTG. I just got it thank you MzPrince and I want to try it out but don't know how to use it, when to wash it out, what NOT to do, ect.

I don't use it, but you are to apply it to your scalp and then prepare to smell funny.

Many ladies have techniques to prevent falling out from the smell, like adding essential oils, applying it only when hair is wet, etc.

But, don't wear sterling silver with it!! - Sulfur tarnishes it.

Just a few tips. I put mine in a color applicator bottle and apply it to my scalp. Doing it this way is better less oil dripping down your neck. Also, I would apply this at night so that come morning the smell is gone. Remember, a little goes alooooong way

I just started using it again to thicken up my edges. I shake the bottle, put the tip near my edges, drop a few drops, rub it in, and cover with a scarf. I only apply it to my edges and only at night.

So those of you that use it at night... is this nightly, every other night, ect? And when do you wash it out? Do you just go with your regular wash routine or what because the bottle says not to wash it out?

don't let it get on your ear or neck, it may make you break out on those areas. I used to use it straight, now i mix it with brahmi oil, I only apply 2-3x per week, it stinks too much to be out in the hot sun with it on your head. Hth

I'm new to MTG also. When I apply it to my scalp while my hair is wet, by the time i airdry my scalp isn't oily and I can't really tell the MTG is there. Am I not applying enough?

That's why it's a good idea to apply when wet because you really can't tell it was ever there by the time your hair dry. keep it up it will still work.

I am new to this, but I grab a few Q-tips and dip them in the MTG and put it on my scalp (not mixed with anything). I do this at night right after my CO wash, and the smell isn't that bad by morning. So far I do this every other day. I'll keep you posted on the results.
