When it's hot I wear my bag until I get to my location and then I'll put on my wig. Well, I get to the mall and as I'm approaching the mirrored doors to the UE store I was going to I noticed....my wig is still riding shotgun in the car.

The long walk back to my car, killed my self esteem :look:

#2

At work my boss (white man) came over to my cubicle to discuss something. We talked for about 20-30 minutes. As he walked away, he turned back around and said "You dropped something" why is my phony pony on the floor looking up at us?!

When DH and I go out I go in my flexirods (in the car of course) and take them out of my hair when we arrive to the place we're going to. I'm on the passenger seat, dressed up, full makeup with a head full of flexirods.
GraceV, I do have a scarf tied to the backrest on our car seat (passenger side).

Nzeee, you are not alone when it comes to baggying mishaps!

When I first heard about whole head baggying, I thought that was somthing I would try. I slathered on DC, put on a clear processing cap, threw on a wig and came to work.

About an hour into the day, my scalp began to itch like crazy! It started out with just a little itching in the front and soon spread all over. By lunch time, I was ready to go home early just to wash that mess out of my hair. This would probably have been a lot less dramatic if I'd used oil instead of DC.

My co-workers saw me scratching at my wig and kept asking what that crinkly noise was. I eventually gave up trying to hide it and told them what was going on. We all had a good laugh about it, and that was the last time I ever tried baggying with DC...at work...under a wig. Not a good combination for me!

You're not alone, girl!

Same thing happened to me except I doused my head in honey! My hair was an absolute sticky, itchy mess by the time I got home to wash it out. :nono:
