Your hair looks gorgeous. You always have been one of my hair idols. Sorry I don't know what to tell you to do about your hair  but I'm sure it will be fine.

Hi Lorraine,

Your hair is beautiful. Thanks for the update. If you are worrying about breakage, I would suggest keeping as much moisture(even keeping it semi-wet) on your hair as you can until you figure out what your next step is. This is what I did for a week almost after my last no lye relaxer in May. That softened my hair back up, then I just continued with my regular regimine. If you don't mind wearing your hair up or in a braid for a week, then i think it could help. hth

When I used Optimum, I had the same problem. Try Cond washes a couple of times during the week. Coconut oil helps a lot too. After that it would get back to normal.

Hey ladies thanks for the advice... I bought some coconut oil during lunch. Will keep you posted. Thanks again!

Oh good! Just remember a little goes a long way. Coconut oil and water are my hair's best friends.

You've always had great hair Lorraine. :)

I had this same problem a couple of times when I used to relax my hair. I told my stylist at the time about it. She then used Joico "K-Pak" reconstructor on my hair. It did WONDERS!! My hair was bouncy and soft like butta. :yep: It's a keeper for me.

Ditto! I would add some CO washes, too.

BTW, Lorraine, your hair looks very pretty! :-)
