five, five, FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVEE!!!!! :drunk:

Now THAT'S a wedding gown! I can see myself in it on my wedding day....and I look purrrty

Wow! I love #'s 3 and 4.

The lace on #4 is my favorite; especially the lace train--I love almost anything with lace. It's so pure and white and it's soft and elegant looking.

The lace detail of #3 is also very beautiful.

That settles it! I'd have to have both...

Love Jim Hjelm designs (the bridemaids collection is very nice also) however a $4,000 dress was not in the budget! So I ended up with Pronovias lace with simular shape.
I think #5 is my fav.

I liked what a consultant said in an episode of Say Yes to the Dress last week. She said if you find the dress of your dreams, and it's above your budget, if you really want it, make cuts elsewhere. Use simpler flower arrangements, cheaper alcohol, sheet cake instead of a full wedding cake, cut the guest list. If you really want that dress, make a sacrifice somewhere else. Granted, she was a consultant trying to make a sale  but I still like that philosophy. :)

Your wedding should be filled with the things that mean the most to you. Peonies and calla lilies are my favorite flowers, but they're really expensive. I'm willing to make a sacrifce somewhere to have them in at least my own bouquet. :yep:

You can also have these dresses made for much, much less. I fell in love with a Lazaro gown that retailed for $4500. No other gown even came close to that one for me. I found a dressmaker online that made it for me, same materials and all, for $460. It is not an exact, exact copy, but it is so close that no one would be able to tell the difference.

I don't think I could take that chance. I hear of way too many brides who get their dresses made and then a month before the wedding, it hasn't gone through or it's not up to their expectations and they have to run and buy another dress off the record. No, that's way too much added stress, and I rather pay the extra. :nono:

Yeah, you have to be sure to get a reputable dressmaker and you have to order at least 3 months in advance, but otherwise, there's no difference between my dress and all of the high end dresses I tried on.

I may be in the minority, but I LOVE dress #1!

^ #1 is my fav. It is a unique dress. I would want the band around the waist to be the same color as the dress though.

I like # 5. But I'm on my blackberry so I have to wait till I see it on a bigger screen.

Still like # 5, but am loving number 1, with a few exceptions. I don't like 'sweetheart' necklines on either dress. I'd want the line to go straight across the chest instead of dipping down. No. 1 I'd want the band to be the same color as my bridesmaids dresses.
