Can someone give me suggestions on moisturizing human hair braids? I just got my hair braided and I am worried about my hair becoming dry during the winter months. However, I don't want my braids to become limp from build up.

Organic root stimulator shea butter lotion is good for moisturizing-jut rub it in really good but be gentle. Also, it's best to follow it up with Organic Root stimulator nature's shine-it gives the braids a nice shiny look. For another suggestion: Some people use braid sheen spray. The one I used was African Royale BRX Braid and Extension Sheen Spray with the gold spray nozzle. To minimize buildup, cleanse the scalp/braid with alcohol or witch hazel applied to a q-tip..[just make sure to moisturize afterwards] they also make braid shampoo.

I second the Nature Shine it is great. The shine is amazing and it smells good too.
