Question about doing box braids with human hair

I am doing box braids using human hair. I am only braiding past my natural hair, but I don't know how to close the braid so it doesn't come undone. Can anyone offer suggestions?

In the past, I always used human hair and my braider tied a knot at the ends. Remy/Cuticle hair doe not keep the knot as well, though.
