I just wanted to know how often everyone has been moisturizing their hair and scalp. If you could also list what you are using as a moisturzer that would help too. Thanks.

I moisturize every day. If I don't, my natural hair will look hard and matted like a cheap bath mat.

My scalp isn't dry, so I don't worry about it much. I use Hairobics Leave-In Spray--that's good enough for my scalp...

Every day after my conditioner wash I apply the Hairobics Spray (hairobicsallnatural.com), Dudley's PCA Moisture Retainer and a mixture of S-Curl Spray, S-Curl Stylin' Gel and a little holding gel (I use whatever is cheap and has no color). Then I put my hair in a bun and cover it with a fake afro puff.

At night I apply some of Carolyn Gray's "Healthier Hair in a Bottle" oil (blackwomansguide.com).

I moisturize both hair & scalp every 2 or so days. Sometimes I'll moisturize daily, it really depends on how much time I have. I use a combo of water & oil, or oil & S-Curl Moisturizer.

In the morning I use Mango butter and at night I use Healthier Hair in a Bottle (on my ends only). The Mango Butter by Elasta QP keeps my hair moisturized all day. So my ends are the only part of my hair I remoisturize.
