Moisturizing flatironed hair?

What can I use to moisturize flatironed hair without reverting it?

I would like to know too... I'm flat ironing my natural hair next weekend and would love the tips to keep it straight & moisturized for the week...

u would want to use something that doesnt have a high water content. I've used sheamoisture shea butter, grohealthy olive cream. ive also had success with a small amount of giovanni direct as well as qhemet burdock root cream. Silk elements has an olive cream in a jar..forget the name. Maybe the profective line.

I've used jane carter nourish & shine, and i've use small amounts of conditioner (I use Elucence and Aubrey) sealed with oil then I tie my hair down to smooth it out.

A spray-on moisturizer is probably the best option.

Try Some of Margurite's Magic by Carol's Daughter. It works really well on my hair. It does have kind of an herbal scent to it. And it lingers a bit. I know smell is a factor for most people.

And I cannot forget my new fav....Coconut oil.
