Profectiv Healthy Ends, KMS Silker 2-in-1 shaping creme, African Pride Soy Replenisher. The first two are creamy and the last one is more wet but seems to work. I like a thicker cream and the smell is just so-so, so I won't be buying more once I'm done but it does moisturize well

I don't see why it wouldn't. The suggestions given in this thread are excellent.

You might also try, esp. in Winter and if you're wearing a protective style (e.g., cornrows, buns, etc.), Vaseline on your ends. Leejure posted an instructive e-mail about this in May (?). I put Vaseline on my ends after I've moisturized my ends. HTH

I also wanted to add that distilled water is the ultimate moisturizer for me, sealed and covered with an oil or heavier occlusive like Vaseline.

I like both, but I use them at different times, because Healthy Ends is oil-based (as is Mega Growth) and Break Free is water-based, making it thinner. HTH .

i've found that allways super gro and liv works WONDERS with my ends, because mine will dry out QUICK if they dont get some somewhat "heavy" moisture

oh how things change when you take better care of your hair..

now all I need is some ORS Carrot Oil mixed w/ a lil oil and i've got moisture for days.

I use a little water and then I seal it in with A & D Ointment. The Wal mart brand has carrot oil in it and it works wonders, whether I wear my hair in a bun or straight. I love it!
