Today I went to the professionals only hair store ( I don't remember the name) And I good some goodies. My boyfriend is a liscensed barber, and he knows how much I am into hair products so he asked me to come with him while he picks up some things for the shop and pick up some things for me. He is spoiling me and enabling my addiction at the same time, BUT I LOVE IT  !!!! I picked out Mizani Renew Strength Reconstructing Gelee, Mizani Hydrafuse (Intense Moiture Treatment)and K-pack Liquid Reconstructor. Has any one used any of these products? If so let me know what you think.

You speaking my language! JOICO!!!

I love the entire line. It is best as part of the 17 minute miracle.

^^^ LOL! You are not slow. I am not sure that they sell it anymore but it contains a chelating shampoo, cuticle sealer, k-pak reconstructor, intense hydrator.

I just bought some Mizani Rose H2O today. Have you tried this? If so, how do you like it?

I love Mizani H20 I use it on my ends and seal with coconut oil. It doesn't way my hair down either. A little bit goes a long way.

That's pretty good too. Just don't use too much because that will weigh your hair down. I would suggest only using it as needed. But I believe it states that on the container.

I actually purchased the nighttime version of the Mizani H2O. How is that?

I also have the H20 Intense Nighttime Treatment. I actually like it. :yep:

It's a little heavy, so you have to use it lightly, pleasant fragrance.

And another thing about it, they only recommend you use it every 2nd or 3rd night and that you use it consistently for two weeks.

I use Mizani Hydrafuse every single week as part of my deep moisturizing regimen. It is fabulous. I use it with heat, mixed with some evco and some ao/hsr....its a wonderful moisturizing conditioner.:yep:

Never tried the Joico 17-Minute Miracle Kit. I did try the Sally's GVP version of the Joico K-Pak Reconstructor and I am still on the fence about it. But after reading that it comes in this kit with other products intended to compliment results, I may reconsider.

I cut and pasted below a blog review of the kit:.

In my quest to attain that utopia of the perfect moisture protein balance in my hair I came upon some reviews of the The 17 Minute Miracle kit by Joico. I have been in love with Joico for some time so it didn’t take too much arm twisting to get me to take the plunge although with a $50 price tag I had to breathe a little. I didn’t get the kit together, usually the cheapest route, but since I had a 20% off Ulta coupon and some of the reconstructor already, I bought the products separately. I saw a really good deal ($35.99) on eBay yesterday that I wish I had seen when I got mine. In short, it was great, I love this set of products and will probably try to incorporate this treat into my regimen once every 4-6 weeks. Since my hair can be protein sensitive at times I wouldn’t do it more often than that. For you relaxed or color-treated girlies this will be an even better find and your hair will love for you to use it more often. So let’s break it down shall we ….

There’s the Chelating Shampoo, its not to harsh and it really gets the job done. After a lot of silicone products or all my buildup of butters, co-wash conditioners, and Megatek, this gets me back to where I started and helps make my conditioners work like the first time again. I get a little tingle and the bottle says it can go even deeper if I leave it on longer. This is the First Step in the process.

Next up is the Cuticle Sealer, I think this is probably when things start getting a little miraculous, because this product tightens up you hair cuticle so it lays down smooth and doesn’t look so dull and frizzy. This is especially great for overly porous hair that just cant get moisturized because your strands just let all of your goodness right back out. Since relaxed hair usually needs something acidic to seal the cuticle this is definitely a must get. It was a little harder to find than the other elements in the kit by itself but I found a good deal on the internet. Step Two down.

Okay now here is the part you’ve probably heard about, the K-pak Deep Constructor. For relaxed and color-treated hair the deep reconstructor is a no-brainer. It restores strength to weekend bonds which allows hair to get to longer and stronger lengths. On natural heads like myself we get that too, plus the curl definition this gives me is like no other. Can we say curls poppin like popcorn! Its not too harsh, and it really gets the job done. The added bonus is it will make using heat on your hair a little less dangerous. Step 3 down, now for moisture.

The final step is the Intense Hydrator. After a protein treatment moisture is essential, and Joico adds this product in to put the softness back. The bottle says to leave it in for like 5 minutes but I definitely left it in a lot longer than that. I didn’t want to use it with heat since I just went through the trouble of sealing my cuticle, but I did want to make sure my hair wasn’t too stiff. I like this conditioner, but I’m not jumping for joy over it. I’m sure its good enough for relaxed heads, but I think I have to have heat with this one to get the good results. The first time was okay, but the second time I added a little Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa to get that uber soft feeling I’ve come to know and love.

Smooth, shiny, defined…check, check, check. It’s not McDonald’s but I’m lovin it! For me, this is essential in my protein moisture balance quest and I’m glad I have it in my arsenal. The kit is available at salons or you can always get it on eBay. I’ll try and post links I find on Amazon if you like to buy stuff separate.

I just checked and did not see the kit, ( I am work not really searching too hard) didn't see the Cuticle Sealer on the joico site but it is available if you Google it through other vendors

I want the kit, as it seems more economical but I couldn't find the kit online either. I called Ulta and they did not have the kit. Maybe Trade Secret may carry it. Otherwise, I'll purchase the items seperately. I already have the reconstructor in my stash.

Try a local BSS, I found one that sells it at a discount.
