PRODUCT REVIEW: Mizani Renew Strength Line

I ordered the lastest Mizani Renew Strength Fortifying Shampoo and Reconstructing Gelee from sleekhair.com. The shipping I guess was fast 4 days, ordered last Thurs. but of course UPS did not ring my bell and it delayed me getting my products

So I used the shampoo and I could really for the first time feel it moisturizing my hair, the fortifying shampoo is supposed to cleanse and strengthen damaged hair, I don't really consider my hair damaged but it could use some damage protection.

So I used a qtr size amount of the shampoo and it lathered up really well as I washing massaging my scalp I could feel so much moisture. For this shampoo to be for damaged hair it really felt nourishing and mild. My hair did not feel stripped at all. I washed twice, 1st wash was with reg. clarifier shamp.

I then used the reconstructing gelee, it says on the bottle to use an generous amount rubbing the roots and ends. When I combed my hair through as it says to do, I did not get as much hair in the comb, i'm stretching so normally it's more hair.

Right now i'm under the dryer with the reconstructor on my hair.

will post back with results after hair is dry.

So far so good and the smell is amazing.

I bought the 8oz size because I wanted to make sure this stuff is good before I buy the larger size.

My hair never felt so nourished while washing, and I use all products expensive and cheap.

the gelee is the ish! really. I sat under the dryer for a hr just to really dc my hair.
while I was rinsing it out my hair felt so silky and hydrated. even while combing each section to blow dry i had less hair in my comb.

and it's weird while i was brushing my hair it felt like it was extra protected, it was squeaky while drying with the paddle brush I'm trying to find the right wording for it....i got it elastic that's how my hair felt. I am now on the mizani band wagon.

i was thinkin about trying like the reconstructor as pre-neutralize protein treat, and usin the gelee afterward. whatcha think?

that sounds good, the gelee is probably good by itself though, my hair felt way better than it has in a while, even while blow drying, my hair felt stronger.

My hair looks so bad right about now that I won't even be posting progress pics this year! Between stress, neglect, laziness, and abuse... Let's just say I'm almost back to square one. I think I'm going to try the masque and gelee. Thanks for posting this one!
