Has anyone tried the micro cap? I'm thinking about buying this for deep co treatments. My portable dryer is getting on my nerves plus I have a new baby to take care of.

My grandma has one, it's really handy since she doesn't like to sit still. It's worth it and it does get really hot.

I love the freedom this cap allows.

But I don't love that you can't replace the heat packs.

They used to sell gel paks separately but no longer do.

So be careful not to leave it in the microwave for even 5 or 10 extra seconds (90 seconds).

I did, and my gel packs burst and I had to throw them away.

But if you heat the cap for a 1 minute and 10 seconds sure it gets hot enough to last a good 15 minutes and you can always put it back in and reheat it to go longer.

It's heaven to be able to lie down, work in the garden, do whatever you want without a cord. And if you fall asleep you won't risk burning yourself or overheating your hair because it''ll cool down.
