Men & Online Dating

I mostly use OKCupid and since I've been on there, I have been wondering why the men that has jobs, money, etc. and who live roughly 20 minutes to an hour from you always want to know if you'll come see them. Why can't they come see you (and I'm not talking about at your house b/c I'm NEVER letting some guy come to my house first)? Maybe it's my way of thinking...I think if a guy really wanted to see you...he would be the first one to come and see not, not ask if you've ever been to his city and then proceed to want you to come down. I just think it's BS to be honest.

Oh and btw, on my first dates...I always meet at a public place.

Is this happening to anyone else? Where the men are asking YOU to come to them.

Never had a man ask me to come to him. Just move along to the next. There's a lot of dud guys to sort through on net dating.

Yeah, I'm just moving along from those...though ironically when I posted that, this guy who's interested in me says the next time he gets a full day off he wants to come to my city and wine and dine me.

Maybe try a site where they have to pay...??

I have come to realise that doesn't make a whole lot of difference. :nono:

I now call POF a Cess Pit :lachen:. Although I do have 2 potentials and one 'Mr Nice but Boring and Insecure' who is now inviting me to a bbq at his house for our first date :ohwell:....clueless.

I have this exact problem as well. Usually after any man hits me with the "when are you coming to see me" I'm immediately disinterested and I'm on to the next.
