Memphis, TN ladies

I don't currently live in Memphis but its my hometown so I had to pop up into this thread! Overton HS class of 98 BABY!

I was there last week visiting family and went to a BSS on Winchester, across from the big World Overcomer church (w/ the huge statue of liberty in the yard) and they had a good selection.

Don't forget Whole Foods Market near Mendenhall and Poplar, just in front of Paradiso Movie Theater (my favorite movie theater). They have Henna, Giovanni, Natures Gate, Aubrey Organics, J/A/S/O/N/S, Avalon, Burt's Bees, ABBA, oils of all kinds, etc. Also, do a google search when you get a chance, you'd be surprised. :yep:

TJ's Beauty Supply has Dominican hair products also. :yep: They are located at Hickory Hill and Winchester, a few doors left of CiCi's pizza. I just left there and purchased :lick: :

My Indian Grocer is Sam's Indian Grocery in Collierville...
I also go to Golden on Germantown and Winchester
I get my hair done at Melody's Beautiful hair by StarKeisha
Vits and Supplements and SOME naturla hair products frm Vitamin Shoppe on Poplar
and Also Whole Foods for my kinky curly...

I will be checking out TJ's for some silicon mix this weekend!

there is another member her that goes to the same salon, iirc(her screen name escapes me at the moment, though).
 
Golden Beauty on Germantown pkwy is now carrying Silicon Mix products. I was so happy to see it on the shelf.
 
That would rock!!! I don't know if I'll be able to make the regional one - DH is stillllll fraking out of work, so money is tioght!
 
Thank you ladies for the info about Farmers Market. I didn't realize I could get Dominican products so close to home and I was just about to order online. I live in the Hacks Cross area. I even got some evoo while I was there. I noticed the new Dominican salon around the corner from the Farmers Market about a month ago. I haven't seen anyone go in or out though.

I would be interested in a Memphis gathering.

This place seem to have everything! I was just in there last week for the first time. I'll have to go back for these products. I went to 15 different bss trying to find Sheamoisture leave in conditioner. TJ was my last stop beforing ordering online and they actually had it!
