Well I think I'll just be chilling this weekend, maintaining my moisture levels by spritzing with water, braid spray and/or Au Rebelle Just Water (since I decided to deep condition twice this week lol)

Last minute invite to a graduation tomorrow morning. Idk what to do with this head of mine. He knows I'm natural. We don't just "go!"like that! I guess I'll blow dry and throw it in a librarian bun. Will be back to edit my details later

I'm going on vacay next week, so I decided to relax at about 19 weeks post. However the dreaded gray halo has made an appearance ...I wonder if it's a bad idea to henna the day after a relaxer...

At about 11.30 tonight, I decided I wanted some protein. I water rinsed and followed with diluted Mill Creek Botanicals Jojoba conditioner.

I covered with a plastic bag while I mixed some water, KCKT and Shea Moisture Purification Masque for my DC.

After rinsing, I slathered on my mix, smoothed and detangled and put in four twists.

I now have my hair covered with a bag and scarf. I will wash it out in the morning and follow with a clay rinse and gel.

Shea Moisture JBCO Purification Mask
Duo Tex - 2 mins
Basura Vanilla Yam (overnight)

This is a heavy protein weekend. Depending on how my hair feels in the morning I may or may not add AOWC for 20 mins to add back moisture if needed.

-prepoo with and undo my cornrows with olive oil
-shampoo using SM 10 in 1
-apply henna/indigo mix
-rinse and apply indigo
-deep condition with SM 10 in 1 masque(o/n)

I'll be washing out this old flexi rod set and doing another! LOL! Deets to follow....

So, the flexis didn't happen because I was lazy. LOL!

Prepoo'd with Mielle Organics Mint Oil from Fri to Sun lol! SMH! Started off under my heated cap then took off and kept plastic cap on hair. I had to leave the house on Sun morning and just put a beanie on my head. Then rinsed the oil out Sun evening and cowashed with Hairveda Cleansing Cream Rinse. Didn't DC because again, I was being lazy. Just sprayed some Jakeala Leave In Spritz and sealed with some Hempseed oil and twisted my hair for a twist out today.

I may set on flexi rods tonight.

@rileypak - how is the TGIN Green Tea Leave In Conditioner? I liked the ingredients buy didn't see too many reviews. How is the slip, softness, long-term moisture? Thanks!

@AgeinATL
I've only used it twice so far so these are very preliminary impressions. The product consistency is on the thick side but it spreads well (a little goes a long way) plus nice scent (like green apple) that's not too heavy but it doesn't linger long if you want that.

First time I used it on dry hair that had been in an old flexirod set that hadn't seen a comb in more than two weeks. It softened my hair and helped the comb glide right through. I don't remember the moisture since I wasn't using it for that purpose at the time (didn't attempt to seal it in).
This wash day when I used it, it once again helped detangle like a dream. My hair is soft and I'll see how the moisture holds up over the next week or two.

So far it looks like a winner but I'll use it a few more times before finally declaring that.
